artistic bearing and good mood.
Life and career
Alexander Vasiliev was born in Moscow and literally got used to it from the cradle
to the high demands and ragged pulse of the life of the capital. Besides,
his parents were theater-goers: his father was a decorator, his mother was an actress.
Therefore, since childhood, Alexander Vasilyev, the road has already been laid in
art. From an early age, little Sasha tried himself as
decorator in the puppet theater. At 12, he set himself
performance, invented costumes and scenery. In 1980 Vasiliev

master classes at universities of the world.
Since 2002, the art historian returns to Russia and tries himself in
as a TV presenter in the program “Breath of the century.” Soon opens
own design studio. The project was a great success and was highly
appreciated by foreign colleagues. Vasiliev masterfully connected the Russian
tradition and Parisian gloss in the interior, than immediately identified his
style and creative individuality.
Since 2009, Vasiliev has become the leading popular program of the First
Channel “Fashion sentence.” In the same year he was invited to scientific
head of the Moscow Academy of Fashion at “Ostankino”. Today
there he heads the faculty of “Design and Fashion” and collaborates with
Mayak radio station, where it runs a cycle of programs about “great
fashionistas.
Success requires sacrifice
In one of his interviews, Alexander Vasilyev admitted that
success and fame helped him to achieve his performance.
The fashion world did not immediately open the door for him, Vasiliev long and hard
worked on his name. He never suffered from “un-tuned” or
creative crisis. Once Vasilyev while working in France
had to carry on his legs hepatitis in severe form. Doctor
measured it a few days of life, but the creative fuse and
resilience Vasiliev decided differently. For many years of service
