Scientists know why most marriagesbreaks down after four years

Thu, Jan 22, 2015

Biologists from the United States gave an explanation of the so-called “itch of the seventh
years “- a statistically observed inclination of married couples
get divorced in the seventh year of marriage.

Scientists reviewed data on divorce people from different countries.
It turned out that despite the fact that the average duration
marital relationship is seven years old, most often people
break up after four years of marriage. Curious that the average age
divorced 25-29 years for men, 20-24 and 25-29 years for women.

Among primates, only a quarter is monogamous and only 5%
mammals are paired for co-cultivation
cubs

Biologists are convinced that people are being moved to parting
ingrained remnants of the distant past when in society
hunter-gatherers women gave birth once every four years. Exactly
at this age, the children went to the care of the tribe, and women
were free to choose a new partner.
