A large-scale sociological study was completed, during
two and a half thousand respondents interested in
skiing. The main purpose of the study is to determine
attitude of Russians to the North Caucasian ski resorts.
Analysis of the research results showed that almost 75 percent
residents of Russia are ready to rest in the North Caucasus in the winter, not
feeling uncomfortable and enjoying riding on
comfortable and equipped with the latest technology
trails.

like beautiful nature and reasonable cost. Main disadvantages
the absence of 100% security in the region
poor quality and rather expensive service, as well as problems with
traffic flow.
If these problems are solved, and this is quite realistic, many

Sochi, Elbrus and Cheget to such popular winter recreation places as
ski slopes of Finland, Bulgaria, Austria and France.
A sociological survey was conducted among fans of ski
sports with a five-year or longer experience in age
categories from 18 to 54 years. Respondents were selected from two dozen
regions of the Russian Federation, moreover, the emphasis was not only on
residents of such megacities like Moscow and St. Petersburg, but also
inhabitants of cities with a smaller number.
Constantly increasing flow of tourists seeking rest
in winter abroad, it may well decrease, in many respects to this
Olympic construction contributes, it remains only to solve problems
about which ordinary Russians speak.
