On the wave of striving for naturalness and environmental friendliness in the past
years, there was a fashionable trend in the make-up of the face – mineral
cosmetics. What are these mysterious “minerals” and what
are they better than traditional makeup products? Let’s figure it out
together.
What is mineral makeup?
Only the cosmetics, which consists entirely of crushed
minerals of natural origin, has the right to be called
mineral. It has the appearance of the finest grinding powder and is produced,
as a rule, in jars with a membrane. Compact powder, liquid
correctors, cream shadows and other non-flowing products, unfortunately
mineral are not. For them, a term such as
�”Mineralized cosmetics”, that is, containing minerals, but not
entirely composed of them. Distinguish mineral makeup from

The main components of mineral cosmetics
- Mika (Mica) is a basic component that replaces the traditional

Also, some may be deterred by the price of mineral cosmetics,
however, in most cases it is justified because it is spent
