Scottish singer Emeli Sande received the prestigious award as
best solo artist at the Q Awards ceremony. Event
took place yesterday, Tuesday, in London at the Grosvenor Hotel.
25-year-old Sande won a difficult victory. Among its competitors
there were quite famous musicians Adel, Noel Gallagher and
Florence Welch.
By the way, Sande this year has become and so memorable. On
the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Summer Games she played
one of the main roles. Having received the award, Emily was very
excited and uttered only: “There was a lot of competition, so
I’m really very happy. “
